G-Mat RFT Surfmat..£250
The RFT is based on the G-Mat Ute. Built with exactly the same materials this mat is the perfect all-round surfmat, performing well in summer slop to overhead solid winter conditions. The RFT is available in three sizes to meet the needs of almost anyone. Also in two different deck weights with coloured deck options available:
200/70 - 200 denier nylon deck and 70d internal structures and bottom skin. Restricted ‘wheezer’ internal air flow for the most stable all-round ride with good hold on the wave face.
70/70 - 70 denier nylon deck and 70d internal structures and bottom skin. Restricted ‘wheezer’ internal air flow for maintaining predictable handling. More sensitive and maleable for increased glide and a looser ride.
Concave and "free" rocker to maximize down the line speed and responsive turning.
Textured deck grip. Mini-Boston style valve allows for easy inflation control in the water.

The RFT2 is based on the G-Mat RB-JMC. Hand built with exactly the same methods and fabric, the RFT2 is an extremely high performance surfmat suited to experienced mat surfers looking for increased speed, drift and sensitivity. This design performs extremely well in waves from 2ft to overhead and is the go to surfmat for many of the World’s most accomplished mat surfers.
The RFT2 is available in three sizes to meet the needs of almost anyone. Also with a few colour options available.
70/70 - 70 denier nylon deck and 70d internal structures and bottom skin. Un-restricted ‘free-breather’ internal air flow which allows the mat to morph instantly for increased sensitivity and responsiveness. The concave, negative elastic rocker and slightly squarer back corners maximize down the line speed, glide and drift.

The G-Mat RFT Mini surfmat was created to combine the experience of mat surfing with bodysurfing. These mats are made in exactly the same way as full size G-Mats. The RFT Mini has been tested in small, fun surf to solid wedges and has proven itself to be very fast and responsive. With a little practice you can lower the inflation to really maximise that mat glide. These are so much fun giving a new experience to both matters and bodysurfers alike.

Light application of Sikaflex EBT+ deck grip.
